Gold Plating (Au Plating)

  • Key Features: Excellent corrosion resistance, superior electrical conductivity, low contact resistance, high ductility, and workability.

  • Applications & Uses: Mainly used in high-value-added industries due to its excellent performance, including semiconductor packaging, connectors, precious metals, aerospace & defense industries, and medical devices due to its non-toxic nature.

Silver Plating (Ag Plating)

  • Key Features: Highest thermal conductivity, excellent reflectivity, low contact resistance, relatively low cost

  • Applications & Uses: Mainly used in high-current components, such as electric vehicle parts, communication equipment, precision contacts, heat dissipation parts, and reflectors. However, unlike gold, it is prone to tarnishing.

Tin Plating (Sn Plating)

  • Key Features: Excellent solderability, superior corrosion resistance and formability, good electrical conductivity, very low cost compared to gold and silver

  • Applications & Uses: Highly cost-effective, mainly used as a finish for electronic components, including PCBs, terminals or connectors, leads, automotive parts, and nuts and bolts for rust prevention.

Electroless Nickel (NiP Plating) / Electro Nickel Plating (Ni Plating)

- Electroless Nickel

  • Key Features: Excellent uniformity, high hardness and wear resistance, strong corrosion resistance, ability to plate non-conductive materials

  • Applications & Uses: Mainly used in industries where precision and corrosion resistance are critical, including semiconductor equipment parts, ENIG, plastic injection molds, and aircraft engine components.

- Electro Nickel

  • Key Features: Excellent rust prevention, high productivity and smoothness, good luster, and excellent as an underlayer plating

  • Applications & Uses: Cost-effective and widely used in everyday products, including kitchenware, ornaments & furniture, connectors and terminals, and automotive exterior or durable parts.

Zinc Plating (Zn Plating)

  • Key Features: Relatively simple process and lowest cost, good workability and weldability, acts as a sacrificial anode to protect the underlying iron

  • Applications & Uses: Used in almost all industrial sectors to enhance the durability of iron, such as construction materials, automobiles, electrical and home appliances, and suitable for mass production.
